Cuscun is located in Jocotenango, one km North from Antigua. We are happy to coordinate pick up at your hotel, hostel or homestay in any part of central Antigua. Additionally, you can arrive directly at our school in Jocotenango via tuc tuc for 20 quetzales – just ask them to take you to the “gasolinera Puma en Jocotenango” and we will be waiting outside for you! 

Cuscun was born as a cooking school, but our aim is not only to cook. We also provide authentic experiences. With us you can learn more about Guatemalan food, culture, traditions and every day life. Join us on our custom made cooking classes, market tour, evening street food tours or be part of our off-the-grid tours around the city of Antigua.

Cuscun offers authentic experiences. Our off-the-grid tours have the aim of showing people the story behind traditional Guatemalan artifacts. We will guide you in a journey discovering local crafts workshops, chicken buses factory and Guatemalan traditions.

Cuscun cooking classes are custom made. Our main target are couples, family and group of friends, we give importance to quality over quantity.

Cuscun is a family business, we open the door of our house for our guests. Every member of Cuscun is 100% Guatemalan, we are local people that want to support our local communities.

In our cooking classes we try to reduce organic waste, moreover we are planning to build our own compost. During our evening street food tour we avoid disposable container offering hand crafted wooden plates and terracotta mugs.
