We are locals. We support locals.

Cuscun literally means food, so Guatemalan cuisine is our main focus. We are a cooking school, but our aim is not only to cook. We also provide authentic experiences. With us you can learn more about Guatemalan food, culture, traditions and every day life. Join us on our custom made cooking classes, evening street food tours or be part of our off-the-grid tours around the city of Antigua.

This is Us, Cuscun

I consider myself a good host and a foodie. I do what I love the most, so I always do it with a smile. My biggest goal is to share my passion with people around me.

Cooking has been always part of my life since I am a kid. All The recipes I know have been passed down from generation to generation and I am happy to share them.

I love learning always something new but what I like the most is sharing what I know with other people. Cooking is so much fun and thanks to my mum Carolina, I am improving day by day.

Why choose Us

we are family

Cuscun is a family business. We open the door of our house for our guests. Enjoy an authentic Guatemalan meal with a local family.

We love what we do

Passion is the main ingredient of every dish we cook and every tour we propose. We love our job. We love our country.

We are locals

Cuscun support the Guatemalan community. Our ingredients are local and our experiences are authentic. Who knows Guatemala better than a local?!

We are different

Every experience is different. We love surprising our costumers with special treats. We chose quality over quantity.

Our doors are always open

Cuscun is located 1 km North from Antigua in the town of Jocotenango. The cooking school is part of a real Guatemalan home in a familiar neighborhood. From our roof top terrace we can admire the Volcan de Agua while enjoying our dinner.
